Introduction

Regular readers will have noted that, over the past few months, our website has gone through a number of dramatic alterations that have proven to be important in shaping the future of At Tha Movies.

As we continue to move forward into 2014, we will look to expand upon this by offering more features, contributors and services.

As with any website, it is important to analyse all of the existing data to see what we’re doing right and what we’re doing wrong. The information we look at ranges from in-depth analysis ( A/B testing, exit rates, bounce rates, devices used, traffic funnels etc) to general information. (how many visitors per day, where they come from and what they look at)

The end goal is to find out if we’re offering the kind of content that people want to read. Furthermore, we want establish beyond doubt that our articles, videos and podcasts are delivered in an accessible way and offer information that visitors want to share with their friends.

This may sound like an easy process, yet something as minute as the coloration of a button can be the difference between success and failure. Conclusion

I would like to thank all of our readers for visiting our website, looking at our content and sharing our work with your friends. We truly value each and every Share, Like, comment and page view we get.

It’s very reassuring to learn that the 8 out of the 10 most read articles of 2013 includes unique, original content written by our new team of contributors. Furthermore, the majority of the articles listed are less than two months old and due to the topics that they cover, should continue to attract new readers for many months to come.

A few of the articles listed above are related to breaking news and due to the nature of their topics, are unlikely to attract additional readers to our website. This is due to their contents no longer being relevant and having already been covered by other related websites.

With the exception of the top two articles, at face value, it would appear that there is no direct correlation between the number of page views and the number of Social Media shares. However, the topics of the articles in question have been covered by other websites and despite attracting vast volumes of traffic from Social Media websites, they indicate an uwillingness by our reader to share articles that may view as not being entirely unique.

2014 will be a very exciting year for At Tha Movies and as highlighted above: we will shortly introduce a number of new and very exciting features that will be on provide our visitors with additional resources, information and services that can be used on a regular basis.

I wont go into any details just now, but I will state that they will be unlike anything you have ever seen on any other related website. We will also use the above information to help guide us in creating the type of daily content that you want to read, watch and listen to.
